OUR

BELIEF

United we believe:-

The Holy Scriptures as originally give, divinely inspired, is the complete trustworthy Word of God and the only authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are united eternally, being three persons but one God.

The Sovereignty of God in creations, revelation, redemption and final judgement.

All humankind is guilty of sinning against God.

The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God. He was born of a virgin and lived on earthly a sinless life.

The sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God in place of the sinner.

The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

The justification of the sinner freely by grace through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the individual sinner, giving repentance towards God, and faith in Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit living and working in the believer.

The Lord Jesus Christ will return in person.

The one, holy and universal Church, which is the Body of Christ, in which all true believers belong and serve.

The future certain and eternal blessings in heaven for those who have been saved and future punishment in hell for those who do not believe in Jesus.

The duty of all believers to bear witness to the Lord Jesus Christ.

These were re-affirmed at the 34th Trustees meeting on 22nd June 2007
