Christian Signs was a development project carried out in 2004 between Christian Deaf Link UK (Go!Sign) and Signs of God, with a grant from the government 'BSL Recognition Fund'.
The project gathered together BSL signs used in a Christian context from across the UK and recorded how these signs were used the church setting. As well as this valuable collection of Christian vocabulary, there are also recordings from that time about Deaf Christian history from around the UK, stories of faith and their churches.
Please remember the BSL vocabulary of signs are not to be regarded as the only way to sign a particular word or concept, but rather is a collection of signs that are in use in some places across the UK. You may well find the signs used in your own area will vary slightly, depending on use, tradition or denomination.'
